All catches on Sundays match was carp so very unusual for Feb, whilst silvers of all species being caught on all lakes. It is slow after frosts but feeding up as water warms up through the day and some good catches from pleasure anglers. Interestingly at dawn and dusk some cracking catches weird for a Feb, all lakes have good colour as fish feeding when normally in Feb  the water would be so clear, or even under ice the thickest in winters past was 9 inches thick.

Banks are wet with all the rain so caution when walking and bring a tarpolin to keep your gear clean is advisable.
Keep feed very light and light terminal tackle as bite are shy.
