The product to most catch the eye here at Total-Fishing.com this week is Westin Fishing’s new Coco The Crab lure.

Very lifelike, and measuring about 2cm across, the patter is made from a 3D scan of the real thing and is the result of extensive research into how crab’s swim, and how predatory fish take them.

“We spent a huge amount of time researching real crabs from around the world to create this lure and wide range of amazing trigger colours and patterns it is available in, says a Westin spokesman.

“When being fished along the bottom, the defending foam claws rises above the crab’s body and the semisoft, realistic legs ad balance and realism. It can also be fished easily in mid water.”

The lure, which comes in eight colours (listed below), features a tungsten belly that means the crab always lands ‘the right way up’. This also means Coco The Crab can be fished naturally, without the need for additional weight, in the right situations, when 6gr is all the casting or holding weight needed.
