Alby Parratt continued his good form with a win from outer peg 6 on Moat pool. Using maggots casters and groundbait on short pole and in the margins Alby caught carp to 8lb.

Andy fished feeder across with corn and later switched to the margins for 3 carp into double figures

Arthur caught using bomb and waggler tactics for carp to 8lb

A good turnout found the carp feeding confidently in this latest match on moat pool. Dave Dare drew peg 32 on the island and just got the verdict by 2lb. Dave fished meat long and maggots and worms in the margins for carp to 14lb and skimmers to 3lb

Second was Stuart Gray. Stuart fished catmeat over pellet on short pole and in the margins for carp to 16lb

Andy fished meat up and down for 11 carp and a few skimmers

Dave Dare fished worms and ground bait at 8m on the pole and caught carp and skimmers in his winning net.
 
2. Reg Turner, Retford, 66-12-0, peg Isl 30
Reg Turner fished shallow on the pole at 13m using luncheon meat and pellets to take second place today.
 
3. Steve Clark, Mansfield Sensas, 63-8-0, peg Isl 34
Steve Clark fished the pole at 12m and 6m maggots and groundbait to catch carp and silvers for third.
 
4. Andy Sellars, Bankside Tackle, 58-10-0; 5. Andy Oldham, Halkon Hunt, 52-7-0.
 
Sunday 29th April 2012, MAP Leegem Marukyu League (60 pegs) Moat
1. Steve Shepherd, Worksop, 98-12-0, Out 9
Steve Shepherd was today’s clear winner with a decent net of mainly carp up to 9lbs caught on the pole at 12m and to the margins using catmeat over pellets.
 
2. Ben Holmes, MAP Leegem, 72-13-0, Isl 29
Second place went to Ben Holmes who caught carp and skimmers on the pole at 8m using chopped worm and caster over groundbait
 
3. G Gibson, MAP Leegem, 61-8-0, Isl 38
Gordon Gibson finished third place also with a mixed net of fish, but he caught using expander pellet over feed pellet.
 
4. M Watson, MAP Leegem, 41-8-0; 5. I Marshall, MAP Leegem, 38-2-0.
