Croft pool was the favoured lake today with three out of the top 4 coming from this lake. Leading the veterans field was regular Keith Noble off peg 22. Keith fished 6mm pellet over micros for 6 carp and a few silvers
2nd D Clegg (Britannia) Peg Croft 5 44-12-0
Dick continues to be consistent with this second place finish. Dick used pellet and corn at 8m for 3 carp combined with tench and small skimmers.
3rd A Payling (Peg One ) Peg Bridge Outer 26 37-2-0
3rd T Sears (Daiwa Hallcroft) Peg Croft 0 37-2-0
There was a tie for 3rd place with both anglers catching impressive nets of skimmers on pellet.

The skimmers seem to be featuring more as the weeks go on and this match was no exception. Rich Teigh fished long pole and pellet at 14m for 30 skimmer up to 2lb and 3 carp to 7lb
2nd D George (Doncaster) Peg 4 35-14-0
Dave also fished pellet on long pole for his mixed net of carp and skimmers
3rd J Hobson (Sheffield) Peg 22 32-4-0

1 D Boswell, Bryden, 65-8-0; peg island 66
Dave Boswell continued his good run of results on Moat Pool. Fishing from 66 on the island Dave caught all carp to bomb and corn for 65-8-0
2 P Bagshaw, Barnsley Blacks, 45-0-0; peg outer 28
Second was Pete Bagshaw also with all carp which were taken on bomb and cone with pellet
3 A Oldham, Halkon Hunt, 42-14-0; peg island 42
Andy Oldham fished pole and pellet at 11m for 42-14-0 and third spot
4 D Slaymaker, MAP Ripley, 40-15-0; 5 J Simms, Chesterfield, 32-3-0
Silvers :
1 Don Slaymaker with 40-15-0 of skimmers caught on caster over groundbait

Gary Mumby had an easy win on Moat today. Fishing island 39 Gary caught carp and skimmers on the pole at 10m alternating pellet and corn over pellet
2 J Urruty, Radcliffe-on-Trent, 28-4-0; peg island 50
John Urruty fished pellet feeder to the far bank with banded pellet for carp and skimmers
3 A Oldham, Halkon Hunt, 27-12-0; peg island 36
Third place went to Andy Oldham who had a mixed net taken on pellet over pellet at 11m
