1 S Gray, Worksop, 96-14-0; peg outer 24 Windy conditions showed why bomb fishing can prove a valuable tactic as all top 3 weights fell to similar methods.

Stuart chose bomb with catmeat to the middle of the lake to win this latest Saturday match with 96-14-0.  Stuart lost a fish at the net as the final whistle blew and missed out on a ton-plus cap.

 

2  A Cordall, Team Muppets, 80-13-0; peg outer 39 Andy fished bomb with meat and long pole with pellet to catch mainly carp for second with 80-13-0.

 

3 W Lomas, Leegem, 70-8-0; peg outer 36

Wayne fished the entire match on the bomb and caught carp up to 6lbs for a total of 70-8-0.

1 D Nuttall, PAC, 75-4-0; peg island 61

Dave fished corn over pellet at both 6m and also down the margins to land 75-4-0 of mainly carp plus bream, to win this latest Sunday Open.

 

2  J Masson, Maver BCUK, 68-10-0; peg outer 22 Jamie fished pellet and meat on the long pole and also picked up the odd fish on the bomb for a total weight of 68-10 and second place.

 

3  A Sellars, Bankside Tackle, 58-12-0; peg outer 52 Andy fished the feeder to the middle of the lake and caught carp and skimmers for 58-12-0 and third place

1 J Masson, Maver BCUK, 89-8-0; peg 40

Jamie Masson blitzed the rest of the field with 89-8-0 of mainly carp to 8lb to pellet and corn from peg 40.

 

2 Sean Butler, Nottingham, 48-3-0; peg 31 Sean Butler fished the feeder with meat towards the island and caught 48-3-0 for second place.

 

3 B Rance, Retford Honda, 43-10-0; peg 6 Barry Rance caught on the pole at 11m with pellet and corn for 43-10-0.

1 Rich Teigh (Handsworth) 118-4-0; peg 38 Rich Teigh managed his third ton plus this year at Hallcroft. Rich fished meat and corn to the margins for his winning weight of 118-4-0.

 

2 S Rothery, Daiwa Goldthorpe, 96-14-0; peg 55 Steve Rothery just missed out on another ton and despite losing over 10 carp still netted 96-14-0 for a close fought second place.

 

3 S Robbins, Leegem, 92-15-0; peg 67

Steve Robbbins fished pellet at 8m and just pipped Jamie Masson into third spot by 15oz with 92-15-0 of carp and bream.

 

4 J Masson, Maver BCUK, 92-0-0;    5 J Hobson, Hallcroft, 82-14-0.

1 A Sellars, Bankside Tackle, 102-13-0; peg 52 Andy Sellars fished dead  maggot with groundbait feeder casting right across Moat to take carp to 6lb for 102-13-0.

 

2 A Payling, Peg One, 87-10-0; peg 4

Arnie Payling fished pellet over pellet at 10m for a mixed net of carp and skimmers.

 

3 P Morgan, Triana North, 86-3-0; peg 36 Phil fished long pole to pellet and meat catching steadily throughout the match to land 86-3-0 of carp and bream.

1 S Rothery, Daiwa Goldthorpe, 130-7-0; peg outer 58 Steve Rothery, pegged outer 58, showed once again he has a consistent winning method fishing paste at 12m to land another ton plus weight.

 

2 D Oldham, Hallcroft, 92-4-0; peg island 64 Daz Oldham was at the opposite end of the lake but still managed a creditable weight fishing pellet at 11m to net 92-4-0 for second spot.

 

3 J Masson, Maver BCUK, 84-8-0; peg island 47 Jamie Masson caught carp to 10lb fishing pellet and meat for a total of 84-8-0.
