Over the past two months moat pool has continued to produce consistent impressive weights and this afternoon match was no different. The top 5 all broke the ton barrier and 80lb was needed for top 15. Daz Oldham came out victor with 134lb from outer 48. Daz used 6mm expander pellet over 4mm feed pellet for 21 carp and a few skimmers

1 N Wood, Hallcroft; Peg 29; 136-10-0 Nigel Wood continued his good form of late with another ton-plus weight of carp and bream from Moat Island. Nigel caught using Maggot and ground bait on a short pole line to win today.
2 J Masson, Maver Marukyu, Peg 40; 115-12-0 Jamie Masson took second place with a nice ton-plus net of carp fishing the pole at 12m using expander pellet and luncheon meat.
3 A Sellars, Bankside Tackle, Peg 37; 100-10-0 Andy Sellars fished ground bait feeder and pole to the margins to take third place

1 N Wood, Hallcroft, 79-12-0; peg island 25 Nigel Wood was on top form again making it two wins this weekend. Nigel caught carp and skimmers on the pole at 6m using maggots and goundbait.
2 P Bagshaw, Maver, 75-13-0; peg outer 58 Pete Bagshaw took the close second place with a net of carp up to 7lbs fishing hair rigged corn on a pellet cone to the middle.
3 D Dare, Marukyu, 74-1-0; peg island 33 Dave Dare fished worm over ground bait for a mixed net of carp and silvers and third spot.
