Angling guide Tomi Kurman hasn’t been spending too much time targeting the Ferox trout on Lough Corrb in Ireland recently due to bad weather.

However, a fine weather window tempted him to have a go with guest Paul Breakers and he was rewarded with this magnificent fish of 12lb 3oz which is also a new personal best for the Cork angler.

Tomi has been spending most of his time targeting trout on micro lures and light tackle, but he’s been landing some superbly conditioned trout up to 7.5lb, with most averaging between 4-5 lb. Tomi also reports that pike are finally back after the spawning season, with some very good fish showing recently.
