TACKLE firms Browning, Shakespeare and Trabucco are among the first to confirm they will be attending this year’s Go Fishing show at the NEC near Birmingham.

Angling Times publisher EMAP bought the show last September and they say support from editorial teams across its angling titles will boost the feature attractions and has encouraged companies who have previously not exhibited to start booking up.

One of the largest exhibitors at the NEC on March 28, 29 and 30 will be Shimano – they have not attended for three years.

It will also be the first time for many years that Essex firm Nash Tackle will have displayed its products at Go Fishing. Some companies from outside the tackle trade are also making their debut at the show, including TV fishing programme broadcaster Discovery Home and Leisure.
