The National Federation of Anglers (NFA) are pleased to announce the Fish ‘O’ Mania venues and dates have now been finalised for 2007. Once again there will be 16 qualifiers held around the country giving anglers a chance of winning the biggest prize in coarse angling!

There are some familiar venues on the Fish ‘O’ Mania circuit, but this year we are also taking the event to some new lakes for 2007. Barston Lakes, Witherington Farm Lakes, Maver Larford and Eye Kettleby are all newcomers and will provide a new challenge for seasoned Fish ‘O’ Mania applicants.

Starting on the 7th April at Viaduct Fishery down in Somerset, Fish ‘O’ Mania will travel the country for the next three months until the final qualifier at Lindholme Lakes on 4th July. Then the 16 anglers will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Neil Machin the 2006 Champion and take home the £25,000 prize money at Hayfield Lakes on 21st July.

The application process will be taking place in the beginning of January via the NFA website (www.nfadirect.com) similar to the 2006 competition. Further details of when the application process will commence shall be announced shortly.

NFA CEO, Paul Baggaley states, “Following the success of the 2006 application process the NFA will be once again be using an online entry system to help us provide the best service to anglers. I am looking forward to the beginning of another years Fish ‘O’ Mania and wish everyone the best of luck.”
