A tale of two halves was the story of the day at the Angling Trust and Canal and River Trust Stillwater Championship qualifier held at Earlswood Lakes, Solihull on Saturday 25th July 2015, with one side of Engine pool producing a 72.40 kilo catch with back up weights, and the anglers facing them on the opposite bank producing one fish between 10 of them.

The previous days heavy rain resulting with an influx of cold water may have produced the diverse results.

Jamie Hughes (MAP/Bagem baits) was top weight with 12 carp on a mixture of bomb and waggler tactics for his 72.40 kilos. Jamie had previously qualified for the final at Blythe in October.
