Incredible hardy angler’s who have caught in harsh winter conditions after a week of sleet, snow, hail, and rain, frosty evenings water temperature dropped but some cracking fish have been caught this week, Ide well over 4lb and ready to spawn, very large perch to 3lb 2oz , chub, a few very large bream over 7lb mark and getting ready to spawn with rough tubercles , some cracking rudd and roach, most silvers caught on maggot, worm, caster, whilst the carp are preferring angel 6mm pellets banded, though the cold water temperatures have shoaled the fish back up tight . You will find the fish in the warmest thermals as bottom is chilled it pays to bring a thermometer to find the warmest layers of water
