I have a match on Dales pool at Bonehill Mill Fishery Tamworth this weekend.

I suspect the fishing will be hard as I have 30 lads booked on, so not a lot of space, and the weather forecast is for temperatures to drop this weekend.
I’ve heard there is a good stock of skimmers and bream – pellet or chop and caster?
Carp on the straight lead and pellet or method?

Any information on current form and tactics would be appreciated.

    Hi mate
Draw on car park side for skimmers its deeper there, dead reds mat work over groundbait.
chuck long on method for carp, bottom very silty so a light method required, but you do need to chuck long, there are some stick ups in the middle of the lake you need to chuck level with them. Margins can work but not sure if warm enough? pinging 8mm pellet on bomb can also work.
    Hope this helps
