    167 anglers caught 696 fish of which 488 were returned

    Best Areas
    Bank – gravel bar, lagoon, coarse bank, boat bay, east arm

    Best Patterns
    Olive or hares ear cdc, damsel, daddy, olive cruncher, red or green diawl bach, shipmans, red apps, orange or tequila blob.

    Another good week for dry fly sport at Elinor with fish being taken on damsel, hatching buzzer and sedge imitations. Other methods worth a try are washing line with a damsel booby and diawl bachs or a red apps/blob on the point with hares ear and crunchers on the droppers.
    On most evenings there is a spectacular rise which has been starting around 9.15pm.
    Providing there is not a prolonged spell of hot weather Elinor should continue to fish well.
