Most anglers will never see a double-figure tench; let alone catch one. But Norwich specialist Darryn Stolworthy has just landed FOUR in the same session – the best fish going over 12lb.

Darren took all four fish from a stillwater in his home county of Norfolk – all in a 12-hour session, feeder-fishing maggots with a cocktail of real maggots and fake maggots on the hook.

Darryn’s fish weighed in at 10lb 7oz, 10lb 10oz, 11lb 14oz, and the big one at 12lb 2oz. For good measure, Darryn’s fishing pal Justin Grapes also added a 10lb tench in the same session from what’s obviously a fantastic venue for the species.

Britain’s tench record has stood since 2001 – a monster of 15lb 3oz 6dr caught by D Ward from a private water in Staines, Surrey.
