IRELAND’S premier angling festival is back, bigger and brighter than ever.

Sponsored by Tourism Ireland and Irish Ferries, there is a massive £3,000 for the overall winner, £500 for the heaviest catch each day and lots more prizes amounting to £17,000*

What’s new? For a start there is five days fishing (Monday to Friday) with six hours fishing, and five top lake venues – Glasshouse, Brackley, Bunerky, Dernafest and Gulladoo – and all results based on total weight.

“The changes have been made to ensure that the King of Clubs is back on track after missing 2004”, said Ann Pye for Irish Ferries.

“It is Ireland’s top angling festival and the object of the modifications is to provide the very best fishing possible for our customers.

“There is a lot more information in our special leaflet, which includes travel dates and ferry sailing times from Holyhead and Pembroke”.

*Tourism Ireland and Irish Ferries have decided upon a prize fund of £2,000 guaranteed plus the return of all the £100 entry fees. PLUS optional pools.

It all takes place from 12-16 September 2005, and if the home nations decide not to go to the World Champs you can expect a number of internationals to attend plus the England manager Mark Downes.
