The 2008 NFA Ladies National takes place this year at Lakeview Fishery in Melton Mowbray on Saturday 26th July, and with the deadline for entries fast approaching ladies need to get their entries in fast.

The NFA Ladies National is the biggest event in the female angling calendar and provides anglers up and down the country the chance to compete with some of the biggest names in the sport.

The deadline for entries this year is 27th June, and any ladies wishing to apply need to visit the NFA website www.nfadirect.com and download the application form, or alternatively call the office on 0115 981 3535 and forms can be sent to you.

Anyone who wishes to take part in the competition needs to be an individual member of the NFA, which again can be done online or by obtaining the necessary paperwork from NFA head office.

Subfish England Ladies Team Manager Tom Pickering is a strong believer in the value and importance of the national competition stating, “For all anglers, that national is the most important match in the calendar and all female anglers should be taking part as it is a huge honour for anyone to be a national champion.”
