One of the UK’s top fishing magazines has been given a complete makeover.
Today’s Flyfisher – the game fishing title from leading angling publishers David Hall Publishing (DHP) – has been rebranded Total FlyFisher.

And to celebrate the new look, the publishers have come up with a great competition that’s open to all fly anglers! The Snowbee Challenge rewards the captors of noteworthy fish with smart enamelled badges and a place in the magazine. Plus, the senders of the top entries each month could earn some great tackle prizes. Information and entry details are currently being circulated to almost 500 of the UK’s best-known fisheries.

The June issue features a celebrity interview with mad-keen fly angler Jeremy Paxman and a 10-page tackle guide including the definitive test of the latest 10ft 7-wt fly rods, all the gear you need to start small-water stalking and a chance to win £5,000 worth of some of the best tackle on the market.

With a strong emphasis on stillwater trout fishing, the new-look title covers everything you need to catch more fish on the fly. With a mass of reader interaction, good yarns, hot news and big-name interviews, it also strikes a great balance between instruction and lifestyle for followers of fishing’s greatest art form.

The contributor list features the biggest names in UK game angling including Charles Jardine and Hywel Morgan. Joining them will be John Bailey, tackle expert Steve Parton, and wild fish specialist Dave Eggington. Among the many other top names involved will be Jim Crawford, Gary Champion, Glyn Freeman, Kevin Moss, Jim Fearn and Howard Croston, all orchestrated by editor Tim Smith – holder of a coveted AAPGAI instructor’s qualification.

The new-look Total FlyFisher hits the bookstalls on May 10th and comes cover-mounted with a free spool of fluorocarbon fly leader worth £3.50.
