John Watson and Jason Davis have been confirmed for Piking 2007 – the annual convention of the Pike Anglers Club.

John, aka Watto, is an acclaimed fishing guide who’ll be talking about some of his experiences on Norfolk’s broads and rivers, while Jason is a well-known big pike hunter who will be going public for the first time about some of his recent captures.

This year’s event marks the 30th anniversary of the PAC, which was formed in
1977 by anglers determined to preserve both the pike and pike fishing.

It’s being held at Stoneleigh, Warks, on Saturday, September 22. Tickets are priced £10 for PAC members, £12 for non-members and all pike anglers are welcome to attend.

Other attractions include a host of specialised stalls with everything you need to restock your bait or lure fishing tackle for the rigours of the coming winter.

There will also be book launches, giving you the chance to meet authors and be one of the first to pick up copies of new wotrks on pike fishing.
