HOLGAN Farm Fishery in South Wales, which is owned and run by former World Champion Ian Heaps, is running week-long festival in late April with £4,500 up for grabs.
Groups of 15 anglers will fish three lakes in rotation from April 26th to May3rd with each lake being classified as a section. There will be daily section prizes of £40 for each day’s section winner, £30 for each runner-up and £20 for third place.

This will be in addition to a £90 daily overall prize with £80 for the runners-up, £65 for third place and £55 for fourth.

With points being scored after three days, the overall festival winner will receive £1,000 with £600 going to the runner-up and £500 to third place. There will also be a £400 fourth place prize and £320 for the fifth place angler.
In addition to the cash payouts, the angler with the biggest fish over the Festival winner will receive a Shakespeare pole.
Entry for the week is £137.50 and quality accommodation is available at local hotels and guest houses.
