FOLLOWING the sale of the old headquarters at Eggington and a recent meeting of the National Executive, it was agreed to ring fence up to £250,000 for the development of grassroots angling.

Over the coming months the National Federation of Anglers will be developing an application process for it’s member clubs to access these funds. The main areas of work which the NFA are keen to support are:-

  • Increasing participation amongst young people and disadvantaged groups
  • Environmental Projects
  • Improving access

Also, consistent with NFA current policy in promoting angling to young people, all entrants to the Cadet, Juniors and Intermediate National Competitions will receive free membership to the NFA. Membership benefits include:-
