Over £6,000 was raised at the ‘Fish with the Stars’ Celebrity Charity event organised by Hardy & Greys Ltd and Game Fishing Supplies of Morpeth.
A cheque was presented to Karen Larkin from the charity, Grace House North East Children’s Hospice Appeal by Hardy & Greys Ltd and Game Fishing Supplies.
The Fly Fishing event, which was held in at Sweethope Lough in June saw anglers from across the UK pay to fish with one of seven celebrities, including rugby players, Jamie Noon, Raphael Ibanez and Jason Oakes, and television actors, Sean Wilson and Dean Andrews.

“We had a brilliant day and the feedback we have received has been fantastic. I am extremely grateful to Hardy & Greys Ltd and Game Fishing Supplies for organising the event and of course to the people who attended the day and supported Grace House North East Children’s Hospice Appeal.”
