 REPORT
MOLANDS    The very cold weather through the middle of the week saw sport drop with lower catches than the previous week.  The colour has dropped out a little and the waggler and bread punch on straight lead with corn or punched bread have been the best approach, particularly for carp.  Some pegs producing F1’s on the method or pellet feeder with meat, pellet or punched bread on the hook.  Best pegs are 2- 4, 12, 21 – 25, 29 – 33, 41 – 46 and 55 – 60.

GEARYS   Carp showing all around the pool with fish mainly from 3 – 6lb but fish to 16lb 8oz have been weighed in during matches this week.  There have been weights to over 60lb but 30 – 40lb is framing at the moment.  Straight lead fished out to the middle stumps is the best tactic for carp and the pole with pellet over micros is working best for skimmers.  Top pegs are 9, 13, 19 – 23, 29 and 31 – 36.

LITTLE GEARYS    A little harder this week with catches to 40lb best.  F1’s to 3lb and skimmers are making up the catches with either a small method and pellet or pole fished short with meat or pellet the best tactic.  The best pegs are on either straight from 9 – 13 and 24 – 29.

GRATUITIES    Fishing the best of all the pools with mixed nets of carp, tench, skimmers, crucians and even chub to 4lb.  Long pole with expander or corn fished over micros is the best tactics but feeder to the island is also catching.  Best pegs are 1, 4, 5, 8, 11 and 15.

ANNIVERSARIES    There have been good nets of tench coming to corn or bread along with mixed nets of skimmers, small carp, roach and crucians coming to caster or pellet.  Pole fished tight to the islands or far bank features is the best tactic with pegs 1, 4, 6, 9, 10, 17 and 21 – 23 the hot pegs.

WILLOW    Another pool that has been fishing pretty well with mixed nets of carp, tench, F1’s and skimmers coming to pole and pellet or caster.  Best pegs are 1, 3, 6, 7, 9 and 10.
