REPORT
MOLANDS The midweek frosts affected sport and made it a little more patchy but the F1s are still coming to the caster or maggot and nets to 50lb have bee caught this week.Pellet feeder or bomb and bread has been the best approach for carp . Best pegs have been 2, 8 – 12, 15, 29, 43 – 49 and 56 – 60.
GEARYS Pellet feeder with corn or punched bread is the best tactic at the moment catching carp to 10lbs and some big skimmers. Best pegs have been 6 – 13, 16, 18, 31-33 and 36.
LITTLE GEARYS Long pole with pellet or caster has been the best approach this week with nets to 70lb caught.A small pellet feeder to the island is also working well. Best pegs are 3, 7 – 12, 19, 21, 24 – 29.
GRATUITIES Some good nets of carp, skimmers and crucians caught on pole wth maggot or caster.Waggler and bread fished up to the island is also working for carp to 8lbs. Best pegs have been 1, 5, 8, 9, 11 and 15.
WILLOW A little patchy this week but some decent nets of F1’s and carp have been caught, mostly by fishing up to the island with pellet feeder or wagglers. Pole and caster or expander is accounting for mixed nets of F1’s and skimmers. Best pegs have been
1, 3, 5, 6 and 10.
SIBLINGS A Carp to 10lb have featured in catches this week with lots of smaller samples showing on some areas.Pole fished corn or banded 6mm pellets has been the best tactic with pegs 14- 21 the best area.
SIBLINGS B Fishing really well with lots of carp and F1’s showing on all pegs. Maggot or pellet fished down the middle or across to the far bank have been the best tactics.
