REPORT
MOLANDS   With ice on the pool on a couple of days sport was a little patchy on Molands.  The better catches have been made up of F1’s or carp with pellet feeder fished across to the island on long pole with pellet/caster or maggot the top tactics.  Best pegs have been 2, 15, 25 – 29, 42 – 48 and 54 – 58.
GEARYS   Gearys is fishing well for silver fish with nets of skimmers and roach to 25lb.  Maggot, caster or pellet fished over ground bait is the best approach.  A few carp are coming to the bomb and bread fished out to the middle stumps.  Best pegs 7 – 13, 18, 29, 31 – 33 and 36 – 38.
LITTLE GEARYS   Nets to over 50lb caught this week with corn or pellet fished long on the pole or pellet feeder fished across to the island the top tactic.  The wider pegs on the far side from 7 – 13 and the car park side from 26 – 29 have been the best areas.
WILLOW   Fishing up to the island with pellet/method feeder or waggler is the way to catch the better quality fish on Willow.  F1’s to 2lb and carp to 1 – 4lb are showing well on pegs 1 – 6.
GRATUITIES   The best pegs have been those when you can fish long down the margins so 1, 8, 9, 15 and 16 have all been going well.  Double caster or expander pellet is working best for carp in the 1 – 5lb bracket on those pegs.  Punched bread or waggler or pellet feeder is the best tactic along the straight.
