REPORT
MOLANDS   Although weights have not been huge, anglers have enjoyed good sport around the pool.  Match weights to nearly 50lb and catches have consisted of F1’s, skimmers, roach and the odd bonus carp and tench.  The best tactics have been pole fished long at 10 – 14.5 metres with pellet or caster on the hook or a small pellet feeder fished up to the island with hard pellet, dead red maggot or punched bread on the hook.  Top pegs have been 1 – 4, 8 – 12, 25 – 27, 42 – 48 and 52 – 58. GEARYS   It has been fishing hard on Gearys this week with the skimmers giving the best chance of sport and catches to 25lb best.  Pole fished pellet, caster/worm and pellet providing skimmers to 3lb.  The best tactic for carp has been to fish the bomb and punched bread out to the middle stumps and this has picked out a few fish up to double figures this week.  Best pegs 1, 6, 7, 11 – 13, 19, 29, 32 and 36.

LITTLE GEARYS   Another pool not in the best of form with catches to around 40lb best this week.  F1’s and skimmers are coming to pole fished long with pellet or caster the best approach and the top pegs are 7 – 13 and 25 – 29.

GRATUITIES   Pleasure anglers reporting decent nets of carp and tench with worm fished on the pole the best tactic at the moment.  Punched bread or corn fished on the waggler to the island is also catching a few fish.  Best pegs 1 – 4, 8, 9 and 16.

ANNIVERSARIES   There have been lots of fish coming to maggot or caster with skimmers, roach, small carp and a few tench being caught in mixed nets up to 30lb.  The far side on pegs 19 – 23 has been the best area.
WILLOW   The best pegs have been 1, 5 and 6 fishing a small feeder to the island which has been catching lots of small carp and F1’s in nets to 40lb+.
