REPORT
MOLANDS    The carp are still feeding around the pool with fish to double figures coming to straight lead and pellet/bread or a pellet feeder fished tight up to the island with meat or pellet on the hook.  The F1’s were a little patchy with some areas producing good nets to pole and pellet.  The worm and caster approach on the pole has started to work providing mixed bags of F1’s, carp, tench and skimmers.  Best pegs are 2 – 13, 23, 35, 40 – 46 and 58 – 60.  GEARYS   A very mixed week with the cooler nights affecting fish at the moment.  The best approach has been to fish worm, caster or dead maggot on the pole and this is accounting for some big carp and skimmers.  The high bank from 6 – 15 has been the best area with pegs 17 – 19, 30 and 36 also fishing well at times.

LITTLE GEARYS    Fished well through the week with lots of catches from 30 – 50lb caught and most pegs going well.  A couple of cold nights made it fish a bit harder at the weekend.  Best tactics have been a small method/pellet feeder fished to the island on long pole fished shallow or on the deck at 13 metres with pellet or caster.  Best pegs 1, 7,9 – 13 and 24 – 29.

GRATUITIES   One of the best pools this week with mixed catches of carp, crucians, tench and skimmers coming to long pole and pellet or worm/caster.  The roadside pegs from 1 – 8 have been in the best form.

ANNIVERSARIES   The anglers fishing Anniversaries have enjoyed good sport with small carp, crucians and skimmers showing in numbers along with the odd bigger tench to 4lb and small barbel.  Pole with pellet or caster has been the best tactic to get lots of bites but corn or meat are accounting for the bigger fish.
