REPORT

MOLANDS It has been a little patchy this week with 100lb + in nets on one day and much harder fishing on others. F1s to 7lb and carp to 17lb have featured in catches. Pellet waggler, candle or method fished on to the middle island has been working best for the bigger F1s. Pole with pellet fished short is catching good nets of the average size F1s. Best pegs have been 2,
12 – 17, 29, 37 and 43 – 46.

GEARYS During the week it was in super form with over a dozen 100lb weights in matches topped by Dave Elliott’s 180lb bag on the second day. Bomb and pellet or corn/maggot fished down the margins over ground bait saw lots of carp from 6 – 15lb caught this week. Good nets of skimmers and silver fish bags being caught on pole and maggot with bags to 60lb+ this week. Top pegs have been 9 – 15, 18 – 21, 27, 30 – 32 and 36.

LITTLE GEARYS Consistent results this week with F1s, carp and skimmers being caught all round the pool. Top tactics have been shallow pole with maggot/pellet, a small method feeder to the island or down the margins with corn, meat or maggot. Best pegs have been 2, 5, 7 – 12, 21 and 23 – 27.

GRATUITIES Some good Bags of carp being caught by fishing on the top with big expanders or dog biscuit and fish to double figures have been coming to this. Pole fished pellet, caster or corn is catching mixed nets of carp, crucians, tench and skimmers from all areas of the pool.

SIBLINGS A Improved this week with better catches being caught from all areas and some decent carp being caught as well. Pole fished pellet, meat and corn is accounting for the better nets but chucking a small method to the far bank has started to work.

SIBLINGS B Anglers fishing on ‘B’ have enjoyed superb sport with virtually a ‘bite a chuck’ from F1s mainly but ide, carp and barbel also showing. Pellet shallow is best with maggot, caster and paste also worth a go.

ANNIVERSARIES Fished a little harder than of late with the F1s and bigger bream not showing on the numbers we have seen recently. Pellet, worm or paste has been the best baits and pegs 2, 6, 15 – 17 and 23 the top pegs.

WILLOW In good form with lots of F1s and carp being caught from all around the pool. Pellet waggler, pole and pellet, corn or paste down the margins have all accounted for big nets.
