REPORT

MOLANDS The milder and windier weather stirred up the F1’s and got them feeding well towards the end of the week. The top tactic has been a pellet feeder with expander or banded pellet on the hook. Best pegs have been 2, 8, 15, 29, 43 – 48 and 56 – 58.

GEARYS Carp have been showing to the bomb and bread with fish to double figures being caught on this tactic fished out to the middle stumps from pegs 9 – 12, 31 and 36. The skimmers have gone off the feed a bit but pleasure catches to 20lb have been caught on pole fished caster or pinkies over ground bait.

LITTLE GEARYS Although weights were low, Little Gearys has been quite consistent through the week with F1’s showing all around the pool. Best tactic has been pole and pellet fished at around 10 – 13 metres with a small pellet feeder also working. Best pegs have been 9 – 15 and 25 – 29.

GRATUITIES Carp are showing on a few pegs with bread or corn dabbed down the edge accounting for fish to 8lb with pegs 1, 8, 9, 15 and 16 all producing to this tactic. Pellet or caster fished long on the pole is accounting for mixed nets of skimmers, roach perch, carp and tench.,

WILLOW The waggler to the island has caught plenty of F1’s and carp to 3lb with pegs 1, 5, 6 and 11 all in decent form over the last week.

CRESCENT/ALDER/REEDY BAY/FIRST BAY The small pools have all been fishing well this week with plenty of F1’s, small carp, roach, rudd and skimmers being caught on float fished expander pellet, maggot or caster.
