REPORT

MOLANDS   Molands is fishing well, particularly for pleasure anglers with lots of carp being caught off the top on bread or dog biscuit and this has accounted for fish to 17lb.  In the matches, catches to 80lb+ have been taken with lots of 40 – 60lb back up weights from around the pool.  Pellet waggler to the island or pellet feeders have been the best tactics for F1’s and carp.  Later in the day, down the edge with corn or meat is working well.  Top pegs are 2, 4, 8, 13, 19, 37, 41 – 46 and 56 – 60.

GEARYS
Gearys seems to be picking up this week with carp to double figures showing well around the pool and the number of skimmers, crucians and tench being caught has been a lot better than the previous week.  Pole and corn or pellet is accounting for good mixed nets with the high bank fishing well along from 6 – 13.  Bomb and pellet is still the best tactic for carp in matches although pleasure anglers have had great sport off the top with bread.

LITTLE GEARYS
Fishing very well at the moment with 100lb+ catches winning most matches and pleasure anglers far exceeding this, particularly those who fish into the evenings.  Pellet waggler, pellet feeder or shallow pole and pellet are the top tactics for carp and F1’s to 4lb.  Best pegs are 3, 7 – 12, 15, 17 and 25 – 29.

GRATUITIES   Carp to double figures are showing on the top with bread or dog biscuit, smaller samples along with tench , crucians and skimmers are being caught on float fished corn, meat, pellet or caster.  Pellet waggler has also been worth a try on Grats.  The end pegs 1, 8, 9, 15 and 16 have been in the best form.

WILLOW
Fishing very well with some great catches reported by pleasure anglers.  Carp to double figures in nets to over 100lb have been caught this week.  The top tactics have been the pellet waggler fished right up to the island or paste down the margins which has also caught lots of F1’s, crucians and tench.  Best pegs 1, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 11.

SIBLINGS A
Word is gathering around about Siblings where anglers have enjoyed constant sport from carp in the 1 – 4lb bracket mainly along with the odd bigger fish, tench and skimmers.  Keep it simple and fished an expander on the hook and feed hard 4mm pellets and fish will come all day long.

ANNIVERSARIES
Good for mixed nets of silvers and F1’s with expander pellets fished over micros accounting for lots of fish.  The top end pegs from 1 – 6 and 21 – 23 have been in the best form.
