REPORT

MOLANDS Starting to show some form with the carp starting to wake up a little. Nets to over 80lb caught in matches and carp to 15lb+ have been caught this week. Pellet tactics are starting to take over with pellet/method feeder fished to the island or waggler and 6 – 8mm pellet both producing good nets. Maggots down the edges later in the day are also working well. Top pegs have been 2, 12, 15, 23, 29 – 33, 41 and 44 – 48.

GEARYS Very much up and down with the changeable conditions last week but the bigger carp are starting to show and there were a number of fish between 15 – 20lb caught in matches and by pleasure anglers. In the matches, pole fished pellet or meat is working well for a mixture of small stocking carp and a few better fish. Pleasure anglers are fishing boilies on the lead and scoring well.

LITTLE GEARYS Consistent without being spectacular with top weights to around 70lb in matches but pleasure anglers have enjoyed bigger nets. The F1s are starting to come shallow and pellet is taking over from maggot as the top bait. A small feeder to the island is also working well. Best pegs are 1, 5, 7 – 11, 17 and 25 – 30.

GRATUTIES The carp were being caught off the top when the weather turned warmer towards the weekend and fish to 15lb have fallen to dog biscuit or big expanders. Decent mixed nets are coming to long pole and caster or expander pellet.

ANNIVERSARIES The main area of the lake on pegs 6 and 15 round to 23 have been the most consistent. F1s to 3lb and carp to 4lb have been the main targets with pole fished pellet, maggot and corn catching.

WILLOW The pegs that can reach the island with the pole have been best fishing pellet tight up to it for F1s and carp up to 4lb. Waggler or pellet feeder is working best on the other pegs.

SIBLINGS A Anglers are reporting really good nets of carp, F1s, ide and skimmers with pole and pellet, maggot and worm all catching well. The most consistent pegs have been from 16 round to 22.

SIBLINGS B In great form with pleasure anglers reporting bags close to 100lb with pole fished corn or pellet producing the bigger nets. Mainly F1s but plenty of carp, ide, skimmers and the odd tench are being caught as well.
