REPORT
MOLANDS    There were some 100lb catches in the week with the F1s switching on but as so often happened this summer a change in pressure saw them switch off at the weekend. When they are going short pole with banded hard pellet fished on the drop or on the bottom has been the best tactic. The carp are also a little hit or miss but fish to high doubles are coming to pellet waggler or bomb and pellet fished to the island and later in the day to meat or paste down the margins.Top pegs are 4,10-15,29-33,41-48 and 56-60

GEARYS  Still a little patchy with a big number of carp sat in the middle of the pool but there were match and pleasure weights of carp to 150lb +.Bomb and big pellet, method feeder and meat/paste down the margins have all accounted for some good nets. The skimmers have been coming to caster or maggot fished over groudbait.Top pegs are 7-13,16,19-23,27,31 and 36

LITTLE GEARYS   The carp have been showing in good numbers with fish to 15lb being caught in catches to 130lb+ on candle/pellet waggler.F1s to 5lb are coming to shallow tactics with pellet or caster fished down the middle best.Top pegs are 1-7 and 21-27

GRATUITIES.  Pellet waggler/corn or a waggler to the island has also been catching carp to double figures but sport has been a little slower than of late.  Good nets of crucians can be had on pole fished caster or expander pellet.

ANNIVERSARIES   Good nets of F1’s are coming to pole and pellet fishing 4mm and fishing a banded hard pellet on the hook.  Some good sized tench and bream also being caught with corn the best bet for them.  The top end, on pegs 2,,4-9 and 21 – 23 have been the better areas

WILLOW The best pool at the moment with  lots of carp and F1’s showing fishing across to the island with waggler and corn or pellet or a small method/pellet feeder with meat or pellet on the hook.  Pole and pellet shallow is also working well.
