Midlands day ticket water Packington Somers Fishery has been stocked with an extra 1,000lb of big roach from the venue’s trout lakes.

This is the time of year when it’s safest to move fish and on finding a healthy stock of quality roach plus some tench during repair work at one of the venue’s trout lakes, fishery manager John Burchell decided to move them to Molands and Willow Pool. John says that he’s looking to restock all the venue’s coarse lakes over the winter period.
