Wednesdays match was transferred to the Cavendish lake  because of the Holmedale being froze, fishing in holes in the ice Dave Madin made the result look like a summer result fishing pole and pellet at peg 7 he had 23 skimmers to 1lb for a total of 16lb 9oz. In 2nd and at the next peg Pete Ellis fished the same method has Dave for 17 skimmers and a total of 11lb.

Saturdays Match on the same lake was won by Wayne Jarrom with 14lb 4 at peg 6 fishing pole and pinkie also skimmers, 2nd place went to Mick Sleigh on peg 3 fishing waggler and maggot for a nice net of roach and a few skimmers and finishing with 12lb exact.

The Sherwood lake as been fishing well with nets of roach on pole and chopped worm to 18lb from pegs on the road side, but Saturday nights frost really slowed sport down, 4lb 12oz of small roach on pole and pinkie was enough to win the Rivendell winter league today.
