A blustery day most anglers opted for short pole fished down the side and it paid off for the top two because the lakes carp made a rare appearance. Both fished pole and meat and corn down the side but it was Jim that came out top with 8 carp – 8lb and a few skimmers and tench, Neil had 5 carp – 6lb plus skimmers and tench – 1lb 3^rd place went to John Darby fishing pole and pellet sort for a fine net of skimmers – 2lb

A good match all round with over half the anglers fishing weighing in over 30lb 1^st place went to Mick Langton fishing pole and corn down the inside line and pellet shallow and bread on the top from peg 26 he had 17 carp all over 5lb and the biggest going 9lb. Nearly 23lb behind in 2^nd place John fished pole and paste at peg 41 for 23 carp – 6lb
