Kev made the most of empty peg 23 fishing pole and meat towards it he struggled to catch anything for the first 2 hours but in the last 3 hours it was a carp nearly every put in when they moved over his bed of pellets he had a good net of carp a total of 91lb 8oz with his biggest fish just over 10lb. In 2nd place again Arnie fished pole and paste at 11m over ground bait catching carp – 8lb but didn’t get a bite in the last 2 hours, he sat and watched Kev take the lead away from him. In third Dave fished pole and paste down the margin for carp – 12lb and helping him and his partner to the top of the leader board

Both Lee and Simon fished pole and pellet but instead of the usual skimmer nets they both caught carp Lee had a net of small carp- 1lb but had a bonus fish that weighed an incredible 13lb 2oz, Simons best fish was 6lb he also had small carp to 1lb.

Match organiser Lee in 3rd place, he fished pole and pellet at 12m for a all skimmer net with his biggest fish going 1lb 8oz

 Neil fished pole and paste for 4 carp in the first hour, then after being bite less for the next hour he changed to pellet and luncheon meat that brought instant success feeding pellets heavy he 20 more carp – 9lb and a total of 91lb 2oz. In 2nd place Arnie fished pole and pellet to catch 19 carp – 10lb catching steady all match, In 3rd spot Steve had just 3 carp in the net up to the last hour then his swim came alive, fishing pole and corn down the margin he ended with a total of 14 carp – 9lb. this was a good match through-out 31lb only got you 12th place

A fantastic was on the cards at the draw a gentle ripple on the lake and not to bright, Lee fished pole and pellet at 14m once the skimmers moved onto his bait it was a fish every put out having 40lb of skimmers – 2lb, but with 45 minutes to go he hooked a 13lb common carp that took him to the end of the match to land, making him the clear winner with 53lb 6oz. In 2nd John also had a nice net of skimmers – 2lb and 10 Crucian carp – 1lb all took on the pole and caster.
