Barston Lakes continues its good form with 77lb required to make the frame in the latest open and a very tight finish.

The match was fished on the riverbank pegs with most weights coming to pole and pellet and Phil Watts coming out on top with 79-14-0 of quality skimmers from peg 47, just over 2lb ahead of a tie for second place. Pete Caton had 77-6-0 of skimmers and carp from peg 55, and his weight was matched by Pete Bennett, who had the same weight in skimmers. The lowest section winning weight was 48lb.
