Fly fishing is the main focus this week when Keith’s guest will be John Horsey, a professional guide and accomplished international competitor. Having represented England more times than anyone else and been team captain in all disciplines of competitive fly fishing, John is well qualified to pass on some great tips.

If you’ve got a question for John or Keith please send it in as soon as possible via an e-mail to tightlines@skysports.com and they’ll do their best to help.

John is an angler of many talents and has fished all over the world. You can get a taste of him in action on a recent trip to the Yukon in Canada in search of arctic char, and also fishing for pike on the fly at the prolific Chew Valley Lake near Bristol.

There’s also something for all coarse anglers as Keith gets out on the bank of the River Lea in Hertfordshire. He re-visits ‘The Conkers’ at Broxbourne, a famous old stretch of the river and a well known chub haunt, to fish for them, and other species, using pole and waggler tactics.

As well as announcing the winners of November’s Young Angler of the Month photo competition, Keith will also have useful information for anglers of all disciplines as he looks at the weekends prospects around the UK. In Fishery Focus he’ll have tips on the best methods and baits to use at some typical venues, and how to cope with the conditions you’ll face.

On Tight Lines next week Keith will be joined by match angler and five-time World Champion Alan Scotthorne. The England International is undoubtedly one of the greats of the sport and he’ll have plenty of good advice to help you improve your results, especially through these tough winter months.

Please keep the questions, and your photos for the ‘Young Angler of the Month’ competition, coming in via e-mail to tightlines@skysports.com.

And a reminder that if you do miss the broadcasts on Sky Sports, the whole programme will be available as a podcast after the show on Friday evening via our website – www.skysports.com/tightlines.
