This week the focus is on sea fishing and Keith’s guest will be Mike Thrussell, one of the most respected names in the business. With over 50 years of experience he has a vast knowledge of all aspects of saltwater fishing so you’re sure to pick up some great tips.

If you’ve got a question for Mike or Keith please send it in as soon as possible via an e-mail to tightlines@skysports.com and they’ll do their best to help.

We get afloat aboard the Silver Spray charter boat out of Poole in Dorset. Reporter Andy Ford joins skipper Andy Cumming and a group of anglers who set out to target the blonde rays, alongside a whole host of other species, that inhabit the off-shore banks.

There’s also a trip to the spectacular River Wye in Wales with Nigel Botherway. A regular visitor to the area for his summer barbel fishing, this time out Nigel sets his sights on chub on the Wye and Usk Foundation stretch of the river at Builth Wells.

Keith will also be taking his regular look at the sport available to all anglers this weekend in Fishery Focus. He’ll have information on the conditions you’re likely to face and the most effective methods and baits to use at some typical UK venues to suit all anglers.

On Tight Lines next week Keith will be joined by specimen hunter Duncan Charman. Although he’s gained a reputation for catching ‘special’ fish, Duncan is an all-rounder who enjoys his sport whatever the quarry. He’ll be sharing some good advice to help you do the same.

Please keep the questions, and your photos for the ‘Young Angler of the Month’ competition, coming in via e-mail to tightlines@skysports.com.

And a reminder that if you do miss the broadcasts on Sky Sports, the whole programme will be available as a podcast after the show on Friday evening via our website – www.skysports.com/tightlines.
