Fishing Wales

Fishing in Wales has never been so good, you may have recently heard of the massive catches in matches on the river Wye, with 200lb bags being common.

Shark fishing off the Pembrokeshire coast is eclipsing anything Looe in Cornwall had in its heyday with blues over 200lb and porbeagles twice that size being caught.

There are more and more carp fisheries opening every week.

Trout fishing on rivers such as the Usk and Wye is being compared with the best in the world and the rivers of the old industrial south are now cleaner than they have ever been which coupled with fish pass building by the Environment Agency Wales meaning large numbers of Salmon and Sea Trout are running in these waters.
