not fished carp lake for a while .
as far as I know , its pellet at 11m , meat or paste in margins , and if you are pegged near island , method with dead red maggot or pellet on the hook.
im sure pellet wag would also work as long a snot too windy
hi kev , the most consistent line is 11m , but you will catch bigger fish at about 5m.
if you are drew on the island , method or pellet wag will catch you plenty , but they will be mostly small – 1lb ish.
best baits are 6mm expander , dead maggot , paste or corn.

daiwa tournament 710 – bloody awesome !!!!
have you got my name down nigel , think you have , just making sure mate
i use the black for carp in summer , and the pink / yellow in winter for f1s / silvers
no matter what venue you pick , you will have favoured pegs / lakes .
somebody will qualify from each round , you pay your money and take your chance.
if I draw holly farm , i wil still fish to win.
what would your 1 main tip be for a newcomer to our sport , would it be to join a local club??
Mosella j range pink is awesome elastic , used it for ages for all my silver fishing for roach
well done Lee mate .
makes me feel better about being next pegged by you now~clap ~clap
deffo agree with the above post , but be aware , lots of small skimmers which can be a pain in the butt on maggot

stupid price , but what a pole – had to get rid of it due to being to scared of breaking a section , but an awesome pole
add me to the list Lee.
feeder rods at the ready~think ~think
Scone is a great bloke and should be an informative day – also , a great laugh~clap ~clap
Hi Lee ,
Please take me off the list , otherwise engaged sunday.
Fish maggot in the margins , feeding little and often , try feeding sloppy groundbait. Dont be afraid to come off the bottom as fish will soon come up after the food
Have applied for 2 , may apply for more nearer time~think ~think
add me to the list please .
They obviously work , Lee battered me off the next peg at Tunnel Barn a couple of weeks ago in Maver pairs.
Cannot remember the last time I got beat by that much there .
Silvers are too small to target.
Like steve says F1s from 12oz to 2lb are your target with quite a few bigger carp which are treated as bonus fish when caught – sometimes even classed as nuisance fish as they can destroy your close in swim and actually cause you to catch less weight~think ~think
well done Jamie , nice result.
G max 1000 is an awesome pole , just had approx 130lb of carp & silvers in a pleasure session .
had a couple of near double figure carp and handled with ease~clap ~clap
Just upgraded from the G10
Gmax 1000 is awesome , thought the G10 was the best pole I hed ever had , until now~clap ~clap
Very strong and stiff , sure it would handle serious elastics if you wanted it to – personally I think it is too good a pole to use for that sort of fishing so will use my Tricast Reaction for heavy duty fishing when I know in advance that I need it.
