Amazon-angler.com’s regular client/angler Andrei Bylchynski has just emailed us this photo of a magnificent Golden Dorado which could have set a new world record.

The leviathan was caught casting a deep diving Rapala X Rap at Argentina’s renowned La Zona and when weighed on a 60lb boga grip, it bottomed the scale out.

This is certainly one of the largest Golden Dorado ever landed and if it had been weighed on land would have guaranteed a new World Record. However, the clients are always keen to get thesse mighty fish back as quickly as possible.

Martin Salter recently returned from a trip to La Zona with Amazon-Angler.com which produced 144 dorado including once again one which could have set a new IGFA all tackle world record.

If you are travelling to Manaus to watch England’s first World Cup cup game, Amazon-Angler.com tell us they can arrange fishing around Manaus.
