Darren blitzed this Monday field with another 100lb from peg 6.Daryl fished pole with pellet and corn at 11m and in the margins for carp to 9lb.

 

2 J Hobson, Hallcroft, 48-2-0; peg 10

Jack fished catmeat over pellet at 8m for 10 carp to 6lb.

 

3 A Oldham, Maver Barnsley, 38-9-0; peg 37 Andy used meat and pellet on the deck for carp and skimmers.

1 D Taylor, Daiwa Goldthorpe, 136-12-0; peg island 29 Again Daryl Taylor blitzed the  Field with yet another ton. Fishing at 12m with his favoured paste Daryl caught 28 carp to 8lb to finish with a winning weight of 136-12-0.

 

2 A Crouch, Garbolino Ossett, 81-8-0; peg island 35 Alan alternated between shallow with meat and pellet on the deck to catch carp to 6lb and skimmers to 2lb for a weight of 81-8-0.

 

3 A Tait, Leegem, 80-0-0; peg island 20

Alan alternated bomb and meat and pellet short for carp and skimmers.

2 G Bennett, Peg 1 BCUK, 69-7-0; peg island 48 Geoff alternated on the deck and shallow with meat for carp and skimmers.

 

3 P Morgan, Triana North, 67-8-0; peg island 42 Phil used similar tactics to the winner for a weight of 67-8-0

Mick fished corn and pellet at 8m for mainly carp to 6lb to take the verdict in this popular Veterans Match.

Keith continued his excellent form with a second place. Keith used pellet at 6m for a mixed net of carp and skimmers.

1 A Crouch ,Garbolino Ossett , 161-5-0; peg island 54 Moat continues to produce some excellent weights and heading the field was Alan Crouch on island peg 54. Alan fished pellet and meat shallow at 12m for

28 carp to 8lb.

 

2 S Rothery, Daiwa Goldthorpe, 117-11-0; peg island 57 Steve Rothery, still in good form, weighed in 117-11-0 fishing paste at 11m, also for a carp net. 

 

3 J Masson, Maver BCUK, 114-11-0; peg outer 19 Jamie Masson fished corn and pellet in the margins for carp to 10lb.

1 S Gray, Worksop, 96-14-0; peg outer 24 Windy conditions showed why bomb fishing can prove a valuable tactic as all top 3 weights fell to similar methods.

Stuart chose bomb with catmeat to the middle of the lake to win this latest Saturday match with 96-14-0.  Stuart lost a fish at the net as the final whistle blew and missed out on a ton-plus cap.

 

2  A Cordall, Team Muppets, 80-13-0; peg outer 39 Andy fished bomb with meat and long pole with pellet to catch mainly carp for second with 80-13-0.

 

3 W Lomas, Leegem, 70-8-0; peg outer 36

Wayne fished the entire match on the bomb and caught carp up to 6lbs for a total of 70-8-0.

Dave fished corn over pellet at both 6m and also down the margins to land 75-4-0 of mainly carp plus bream, to win this latest Sunday Open.

 

2  J Masson, Maver BCUK, 68-10-0; peg outer 22 Jamie fished pellet and meat on the long pole and also picked up the odd fish on the bomb for a total weight of 68-10 and second place.

 

3  A Sellars, Bankside Tackle, 58-12-0; peg outer 52 Andy fished the feeder to the middle of the lake and caught carp and skimmers for 58-12-0 and third place

1 S Spurr, Ultimate Anglers, 86-12-0; peg island 65 Steve Spurr returned to winning ways in this Saturday open. Drawn island 65, Steve alternated pellet and meat on the hook over Hallcroft feed pellet and fishing at 4 and 8m took carp to 7lb for 86-12-0.

 

2 D Oldham, Hallcroft, 67-4-0; peg island 44 Daz Oldham was further down the island on peg 44. He also fished pellet to catch a mixed net of carp and skimmers for 67-4-0.

 

3 G Gibson, Worksop, 65-14-0; peg outer 16 Close behind was Gordon Gibson who landed 65-14-0 of carp from outer peg 16.

2 N Speed, Merlin Dynamite Baits, 71-3-0; peg outer 8 Nick Speed fished pellet and meat at 13m from outer peg 8 for 71-3-0.

 

3 A Crouch, Garbolino Ossett, 66-4-0; peg outer 21 Alan Crouch took third spot with 66-4-0.
