geepsterA Kirkby angler claims local residents had to step in to save a much-loved community park and lake.
John Morky formed a group called Mill Farm Fishing after fish at the lake, in Mill Dam Park, started to die.
The 38-year-old says he spent his childhood angling at the park but it became almost unusable after trees fell into the water and rubbish began to build up around the area.
