Thats how the lazy anglers fish it and just sit there getting tennis elbow and catapult thumb. If you draw a peg with a small bay on the island put the method in it. But of course you should not forget the pole as plenty of fish to be had in comfortable pole range . Its easier to catch up fishing the method or straight lead but the pole can be very succesful and a lot more interesting.
