  What type of rod are you after? i have a multi tip rod, so i can use it for stalking chub as well.There are a few that appear on ebay, which seem good value, main thing is decide what you need, and how much you can afford, in this months total coarse fishing, they have barbel rods on test, so reckon you should have a look at that.
