Another decent week with a three fish average although many flat calm days made the fishing trickier combined with the extremely clear water.
The mild weather has seen decent hatches of small black buzzers which have kept the fish near the surface.
On days with a breeze the best method has been a floater or midgetip with a red apps or red head damsel on the point and diawl bach on the dropper.
Most fishing is taking place on the bank although Ray Ward had a couple of boat trips last week. He had an uncharacteristic blank on Wednesday but got his own back in style on Friday catching 21! 19 on a red apps and 2 on a black cruncher.
Last stocking of the year on December 22nd.
Elinor is open for day ticket anglers until December 31st.
Season permit holders may bank fish the whole of January.
The 2017 season starts on Saturday February 11th.
