        hi, can anyone tell me the best bait and methods to catch barbel on the severn,(worcester area) the last time i fished for them was years ago using a straight lead and meat but im shure there are better tactics now, cheers TOM

          My mate fished the Severn last week and caught two Barbel using hair rig method with braid? The bait was the ever usful pellet…The Barbel i am told were 8lb 6 and 9lb 14oz. The exace venue. well thats a secret, but you’ll not to far away….thesaint
