          I’ve got a Clubman qualifier on the new pools on saturday, the last qualifier fished well with paste close in.

            All baits working but I would go pellet/paste at top 2 plus 2 and meat down the sides with same length of pole. This pool has beween 18 inches and just over two feet in the margins depending on how far out the reeds have grown on your swim. It then slopes off to around five feet in the centre of the pool. Carp in pool 1 are mostly averaging 3.5lb each and run to around 7lb. Also contains decent F1’s, Tench, Skimmers and a few Barbel. No need to fish fine as 0.15 to black hydro will be ok with 14/16’s B911 or similar as hooks. Have a nice day. 🙂
