Report:
Phases 2 and 3 were completely frozen over and all Phase 1 lakes were also with some ice, but with the Café end of Lake Five ice free the match was held on successive pegs there, where amazingly all anglers caught fish (including three with carp).
After having no signs on method feeder, John Adamson (peg 4) switched to pole and pellet, and after several adjustments managed to find skimmer bream feeding at 10m. A switch to method feeder in the last 30 minutes produced two one pound skimmers and, three minutes from the end, a ghost carp of around eight pounds, lifting his weight to 24-00 to win.
Daz Dale (peg 6) set his stall for skimmers and on pole/pellet caught steadily throughout for his 20-12 and second place, Stu Johnstone (peg 10) taking his mainly skimmer catch on red maggot and pole.
