Lagoon is right next to the cafe and toilets one of the better lakes would fish maggot/pellet up in the water paste down the margin also take some bread as you can catch off the top up against the far bank rushes

Jym im sure floating baits are band…….

Pellet/caster shallow tight over to far bank 13m……..also pellet fished on the deck at 8-12m will catch lots of carp around the 1-2lb mark, theres no big carp in there so don`t go to heavy with your line 0.13mm will be plenty..

The lake fishes crap with more than 12 anglers on,so the pegs at the top end of the lake need leaving out as there rubbish

Kev, agree with the to many spoils it but recently the pegs near the car park have been doing well and only the 4 at the bottom end have been poor(13-17). Pegs in the 20’s and 1-6 are all good. Also will 2nd your methods.

But david to look at them they look very very fishy but just dont get pleasure fished cause no one can be bothered to walk up there, they just fish the nearest pegs to there car and thats where all the grub goes in

Yes mate i drew that end recently and thought it looked ok,then had a conversation with a guy about just that. What i did find was it was more productive to get in the margins early (i had some reeds to my right) get 3 or 4 fish then rest it and opt for the margin to the left. I did this after about 2 hours of hard over and trying to get them up at 9 metres. Over were little gudgeon and on the day i was there they wouldn’t come up,it had rained solid for 5 days before though it was dry on the day.

so it looks like i needto take caster and choppie for shallow and margins, bread for far bank, and try to avoid the dreaded 5 pegs.how far out do you need to fish to catch shallow

rowdy, not a fan of the snippy stuff on there. 4mm pellets shallow at 9m,paste the margin and meat over the far bank
